The Mardol Multipurpose Co-Operative PACS Ltd. was established on 07/01/2014 and duly registered in the office of the Asstt. Registrar of Co-operative Societies in Ponda Goa. In the beginning active citizen namely Shri.Laxmikant K. Khedekar, Shri Sunil B. Gaude, Shri.Rajendra A. Gaude and Shri.Ghanashyam S. Khedekar had decided to establish the above credit society at Khedem,Priol. They invited other 07 members to join the Credit society as Promoters. The eleven promoters elected among themselves Shri.Laxmikant Krishna Khedekar as Chief promoter, then after elected as chairman of the credit society.
The Mardol Multipurpose Co-Operative PACS Ltd. was inaugurated on 8/2/2014 at the hands of Shri.Deepak M. Dhavalikar, Minister for Co-Operative Societies and factories and Boilers Govt. of Goa. At the first instance Society enrolled 554 shareholders with share capital of Rs.305940/- and having its area operation in the village of Veling ,Priol, Kunkoliem and Keri panchayat with loan disbursing power of Rs. 300000/-.
At present, we have four branches at Khedem, Curti, Marcel and Tisk-Usgao Branch with the co-operation and support of shareholders and customer. Now, the credit society has extended its area of operation to entire Ponda taluka and Tiswadi taluka and has increased its loan disbursing capacity to Rs. 1500000/-.
